All eight production lines of Phase I of the Housheng Lithium Battery Separator Project Have Been Put into Operation.
By the end of December 2023, with the commissioning of Production Lines No. 7 and No. 8, all eight production lines in Phase I of the Housheng Lithium Battery Separator Project—located in the Yangqu Industrial Park of the Shanxi Transformation Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone—had been brought online. Construction of Phase II is currently being expedited, and its eight production lines are also slated to commence operations this year.

The Housheng Lithium-Battery Separator Project is invested in and constructed by Shanxi Housheng New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., with construction commencing on July 1, 2021. Phase I covers an area of 250 mu, with a total investment of RMB 2.3 billion and a total floor area of 107,670 square meters, comprising Buildings No. 1 and No. 2 and a total of eight lithium-battery separator production lines. Phase II spans 237 mu, with a total investment of RMB 2.335 billion and a total floor area of 153,245 square meters, also housing eight lithium-battery separator production lines. Currently, Building No. 3 of Phase II has been completed, equipment for Production Lines Nos. 9–12 is being installed, construction of the main structure of Building No. 4 is underway, and equipment for Production Lines Nos. 13–16 has already been delivered; all eight lines are expected to enter operation this year. Once all 16 production lines in Phases I and II are fully operational, annual sales revenue will exceed RMB 10 billion.
Since the project’s inception, the dedicated task force for the Housheng Lithium Battery Separator Project in the Yangqu Industrial Park has embraced the guiding principle that “service must always stay one step ahead of enterprise needs.” The team has proactively engaged on-site at the construction site, maintained close communication and coordination with the project team, promptly collected, collated, and consolidated issues, and ensured coordinated planning and efficient resolution. As the largest single-project investment in the park’s history, the Housheng Lithium Battery Separator Project necessitated the re-engineering and expansion of critical production infrastructure—such as water, electricity, and steam—to meet the enterprise’s capacity requirements. From the outset, the task force adopted a working approach characterized by “phased infrastructure alignment, integrated advancement, and end-to-end follow-up”: ensuring timely project completion and commissioning while rigorously managing financial resources to maximize cost savings; addressing immediate challenges while safeguarding long-term interests, thereby deploying limited funds where they would deliver the greatest impact. Thanks to the tireless efforts of the entire task force, substantial progress was made last October in securing the project’s power and steam supply. A phased, economically sound, and sequentially implemented solution—balancing short-term and long-term needs—has now been largely put in place, fully meeting the power and steam demands of both Phase I and Phase II operations while also generating significant fiscal savings for the park.
The head of the special task force for the Housheng Lithium Battery Separator Project stated: “As long as a company has a request, the task force will definitely respond. While providing services to support the construction of the Housheng project, we have also helped the company establish Party and trade union organizations, coordinated matters such as tomb relocation, confirmation of boundary lines with neighboring properties, construction of temporary access roads, and arrangement of commuter transportation, ensuring that every issue receives feedback and follow-up, and striving to address all corporate requests and challenges in a timely and effective manner.” In response, the company’s leader remarked with deep appreciation: “We place exceptional trust in and rely heavily on the task force. Whenever we encounter difficulties or problems, we turn to them immediately for solutions—they truly feel like family to our company.”
