To enhance employees’ skill levels, strengthen their professional ethics, encourage the development of skilled talent, and showcase the fine spirit and outstanding performance of Haisheng’s workforce, the company’s trade union, in collaboration with the Production Department, organized the “Skills Lead, Capabilities Know No Bounds” Skills Competition from May 15 to 16. The competition featured two events—film-pasting and blade assembly—with a total of 22 participants. Shen Yading, Deputy General Manager and Chairman of the Trade Union, and Lu Jiping, Deputy General Manager, attended the event.

Based on the production schedule and employee shift rotations, this skills competition was held over two days, thereby further ensuring broad participation and high enthusiasm among employees. In addition, the event was closely aligned with the operational procedures for small-cutting operations, with active involvement from the Coating Technology Department and the Quality Management Department, which comprehensively safeguarded the fairness and professionalism of the competition. Following two days of well-organized and intense competition, and thanks to the dedicated participation of all contestants, the skills competition concluded in complete success.

Prior to the start of the competition, Deputy General Manager Lu Jiping delivered an encouraging address to the employees. He emphasized that production skills are a critical factor in achieving high-quality manufacturing and that the company’s continued growth depends on the diligent work of every employee. He expressed his hope that all participants in this skills competition would demonstrate their expertise and showcase their professional excellence.

During the competition, the contestants demonstrated proficient operation at the control points specified in the production control plan, exhibiting meticulousness, orderliness, and swift execution. In the film-pasting event, although each step of the process is relatively brief—typically completed in about 3 to 4 minutes on average—the competitors approached it with rigorous precision and continually strived for improvement. Ultimately, Kong Linglong secured first place in the film-pasting competition with an outstanding time of 2 minutes and 13 seconds and a perfect score on the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). In contrast, the tool-assembly competition was more time-consuming and involved more complex operational steps; over an average duration of 37 minutes, the contestants delivered exceptional performances with consistent reliability. In the end, Jian Xiaodong claimed first place in the tool-assembly competition with an impressive time of 29 minutes and 20 seconds and a perfect SOP score.

On the 17th, the awards ceremony was held as scheduled in the Coating Workshop, where the contestants actively exchanged their insights and experiences from the competition. Shen Yading, Deputy General Manager and Chairman of the Trade Union, briefed the employees on the company’s development journey and the trade union’s future plans, emphasizing that employees’ long-term personal growth is inseparable from the enhancement of their professional skills. He stated that the company places great importance on employee development and hopes to enrich employees’ lives while further improving their technical expertise by organizing skill competitions. Contestant He Tianxiang shared his thoughts and impressions from the event, noting the positive and supportive atmosphere of the competition and pledging to continue honing his professional skills going forward.
