Wu Wei, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shanxi Provincial Committee and Executive Vice Governor of Shanxi Province, Conducts Field Inspection of Key Projects in the Shanxi Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone
On May 10, Wu Wei, a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Executive Vice Governor, conducted an in-depth field visit to the Shanxi Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone, focusing on the major research topic he has taken up—“major and crucial undertakings that lay a solid foundation and deliver long-term benefits.” At the project sites of Shanxi Housheng New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. and Taishan Glass Fiber (Taiyuan) Co., Ltd., he carried out on-site inspections of the construction progress of key provincial projects and coordinated efforts to resolve the difficulties and problems encountered during project implementation. Fan Zhaosen, Deputy Secretary-General of the Provincial Government, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Shanxi Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone, and Director of its Administrative Committee, accompanied him.
Wu Wei pointed out that provincial-level key projects are a crucial lever for expanding effective investment and unlocking the potential of domestic demand. It is imperative to earnestly implement the decisions and arrangements of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government, thoroughly carry out the strategy of expanding domestic demand, seize the golden period for project construction, continuously generate a surge in project development, and truly leverage the benchmark and leading role of provincial-level key projects. All levels and relevant departments must go directly to the front lines of projects, promptly understand the needs and demands of enterprises and project proponents, expedite preliminary procedures, provide comprehensive support for essential factors, ensure that signed projects commence construction as soon as possible, that projects already under construction reach full production at an early date, and that more tangible results are delivered, thereby laying a solid foundation for achieving more than half of both the time-bound targets and the annual tasks in the first half of the year.
